Eastpoint Community Church

Who are we?

Eastpoint Community Church is located in the heart of the east side of Shreveport. We are a diverse group of people passionate about praise & worship, passionate about seeking out Biblical truth and passionate about helping people. Our heart and mission is to make Christianity relevant where anyone can experience the unconditional love, presence and life changing power of God. We are a campus of Shreveport Community Church under the direction of Pastor Denny Duron.

When & where do we meet?

We meet each Sunday Night at 7:00pm in Brown Chapel, on the beautiful campus of Centenary College. Child care provided at each service. The first Sunday of each month we receive communion together.

Children’s Ministry

We love our kids and want to make sure that they are receiving and growing up in God just like their parents. Nursery and pre-school children can be dropped off before the service. Elementary age children sit with their parents during praise and worship and then are dismissed to Kids Church for a special service just for them.

Visitors of all faiths are always welcome!

Who is your leadership team?

Senior Pastors Denny & DeAnza Duron

Lead Campus Pastors Steve & Pam Beyer

Ministering Elders: Bruce & Valerie Ewing; Louis & DJ Hejtmanek

What should I expect when I visit?

Our services are warm, genuine and casual, so come as you are! We want people to be relaxed and just enjoy an evening of great worship and message from God’s Word.

The diversity of people represents a true picture of the east side of Shreveport, and there is a collective sense of the reality of God and His love. No matter what church background, race, economic situation, gender or cultural differences, you’ll find – We Are All About People.

Pastor Steve’s style is practical and down to earth, the many scriptures in every sermon are displayed on the big screen for everyone to see and follow along with as he desires people to know God and His Word for themselves. Being a children pastor for so many years, he will often use home-made props to illustrate his points.

Senior Pastor Denny Duron speaks at Eastpoint at least once a month and brings a powerful perspective on life, faith, and the Bible. You do not want to miss a single evening service at Eastpoint!
